Blue Spruce Mobile Home Lodge is a beautiful and quiet community nestled in the wine country of Sonoma County. Surrounded by vineyards, Blue Spruce is the home of 54 households who cherish their unique and quiet country location that is only 15 minutes from Santa Rosa. At the end of 2010 residents received notice that their park was going to be marketed for sale.

The homeowners association immediately contacted ROP and in less than 3 weeks ROP was in contract for the park purchase. With financial assistance from a local community bank and a loan from Sonoma County to preserve affordable housing, ROP closed escrow in May 2011.

Working closely with the HOA, ROP is undertaking park improvements and has established the "Neighbor Helping Neighbor" program to accept tax-deductible donations from individuals and local businesses to provide financial assistance to low income residents of the park. Although homes sales are relatively rare at Blue Spruce, those lucky enough to move into the park call it living in paradise.
