Oakridge

The November 2008 "Sayre Fire", that burned a large section of northern
Los Angeles County, was particularly disastrous for the residents of
Oakridge, an upscale manufactured housing community where 489 out of
608 mobilehomes were destroyed.

It has taken nearly a year for the debris to be removed and for new utility
infrastructure to be completed, so that residents could acquire new
homes and resume living at Oakridge. ROP, a licensed manufactured
home dealer, has been active in providing Oakridge residents with
affordable replacement housing, by teaming with Canterbury Cabins,
also a licensed dealer in California. ROP/Canterbury has hosted seminars
in Los Angeles County for Oakridge residents, and provided detailed
brochures providing specific pricing information on various models, and
providing information on upgrades and options available to homeowners
seeking to customize their new homes.

With the assistance of Champion Homes, a manufacturer of homes and
parent company of Silvercrest Homes, ROP/Canterbury organized an
"Oakridge Day" at the Champion Homes factory, so that homeowners
could see the manufacturing process for themselves and the quality
construction and features available in homes purchased from
ROP/Canterbury. By providing quality housing at affordable prices, ROP's
work as a licensed manufactured housing dealer in California, is yet
another way for ROP to prove its commitment to preserve affordable
housing.
